Book Donations News!
The Friends will be accepting donations starting on October 1. They will be happy to accept new and gently used books, DVDs and CDs in good condition. The Friends will not accept textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or videos. Monetary donations are always welcome!
Donations can be left in the bins located on the gallery lower level next to entrance and next to the Circulation Desk on the first floor.
Memoir Writing Class Info.
Interested in Memoir Writing? Register today for either Tuesday afternoons or Wednesday evenings. To register please call the library at 914-941-2416 ext. 327. This course is taught by local author and poet, Catherine Wald.
Mindfulness/Meditation Class Info.
Feeling stressed? This class will teach you techniques on how to relax by using your mind and body. This class meets once a week on Fridays for 1 hour, 4:30 - 5:30 p.m. in the 2nd floor conference room. Sept. 5th through Dec. 12th. All are welcome to attend. Westchester Library System Program Offer!
Westchester Library System is offering Free Permit Practice Tests online (Free Drivers Education program). This program is conjunction with Driving-Tests.org. For more information on the program visit www.westchesterlibraries.org.

SBIC at the Library
Senior Benefits Information Centers (SBICs) help adults age 60 and older, and those caring for the elderly, achieve a better understanding of Medicare health plans and prescription drug coverage. Information and counseling is provided about different types of government programs, including federal and state financial assistance programs, and county-wide benefits. This program is offered through Westchester Library System and meets at the Ossining Library 2 thursdays a month.
