SYNC Audiobooks
Audiobook enthusiasts of the world, get excited: SYNC Audiobooks for Teens, provided by AudioFile Magazine and powered by the Sora student reading app, is back for its 13th season.
SYNC is a summer reading program targeted at teens aged 13 and older (though anyone can participate). This year’s edition will run for 16 weeks, providing two thematically paired audiobooks for checkout each week, for free, to every registered listener. This equals 32 free books!
For your on-the-go readers this summer, audiobooks are a great companion for road trips, plane rides, lazy beach days, household chores and more.
Libby by Overdrive
To access our digital library, first you will need to download the Libby App onto your mobile device. This is a free app used for reading eBooks or listening to audiobooks. This is available in both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Once you have the Libby App, you use your Library Card Number to login, browse for, and borrow digital books!
To begin looking for books, select Search For A Book at the top of the home screen to search the library or use the main menu to browse available materials. When you find an item to check out, tap the book’s cover and then tap Borrow! in the screen that opens with your library card. Tap Open Book to begin reading.
Please note, just like the physical library, Libby might not have your book right now. To get in line, tap Place Hold on the book or audiobook screen.
