The Ossining Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization which serves to enrich and enhance the services of the Ossining Public Library by providing additional financial support to the library. Through securing grants and raising funds, the Foundation works to support large projects outside the scope of the library’s budget.
With a successful winter fundraiser done, the Ossining Library Foundation is reinvigorated and has identified key projects to fund in 2022. As part of the Foundation’s revitalization, we are seeking members to serve on the board of directors.
Joining the Foundation’s Board of Directors will allow you to have a profound impact on the Ossining community. We are looking for people with board experience, and a deep love for the library. Organized, efficient, and persistent, the Foundation board should be passionate and innovative, and members should be comfortable soliciting donations, have experience with fundraising, and be able to plan and execute innovative and successful fundraisers.

Words & Music Concert Series
The Words & Music Concert Series, presented by TD Bank, was a much loved and highly successful series of fundraisers, which brought well-known singers, songwriters, and recording artists to perform in the Library’s Budarz Theater.
Co-founded in 2011 by Alan and Ellen Marzelli, the series consisted of 46 shows, 30 of which were presented free to the community. Nine ticketed shows generated $19,000 to support the Library’s free programming.
