Hotspots
A WiFi hotspot is a device that can be used to connect devices such as laptops, smartphones, and tablets to the internet. WiFi hotspots are portable and use cellular networks to connect to the internet.
The Ossining Public Library offers WiFi hotspots that can be checked out, free of charge, by Ossining community members who would not otherwise have access to an internet connection. These hotspots can be checked out for up to three (3) months at a time.
In order to check out a hotspot, patrons must have an Ossining Public Library account in good standing.
Patrons wishing to check out WiFi hotspots should visit the Front Desk at the library. Before checking out a hotspot, they must read the Information and Guidelines and sign the User Agreement provided by Front Desk staff prior to checkout.
