Learn about the Museum Pass program at the Library

Museum Pass Program

  • Museum passes can only be checked out by a patron with an Ossining library card.
  • Museum passes must be returned to a Circulation staff member. They cannot be put in the book drop.
  • 1 museum pass is allowed per family (except Frick Collection). 
  • Passes are checked out for one week and cannot be renewed. *PLEASE do not check out the passes more than a week ahead of when you plan to visit the museum!
  • The replacement fee if lost is $75.00

PLEASE NOTE: All museum passes, with the exception of the Liberty Science Center, are physical passes that must be checked out from the library in order to use them.

9/11 Memorial & Museum
Museum’s Address: 180 Greenwich St. New York, NY 10007 (Lower Manhattan)
The Museum Pass allows free, expedited admission to the museum for 2 adults and 2 children (17 and under).
Complimentary audio guides.
20% discount in the Museum Store.
Advance reservations are not required.
On the day of your visit, the Museum Pass must be presented at the museum.

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
Museum’s Address: 258 Main St. Ridgefield, CT 06877
Free General Admission for 5 people.
Advance ticket reservations are encouraged. Please select “free admission” when booking tickets online.
Library pass must be presented at the museum.
Limit 1 pass per family.

Boscobel
Museum’s Address: 1601 NY-9D, Garrison NY 10524 (Putnam County)
The Library pass allows free admission for up to 4 guests for Grounds Admission.
The Library pass allows up to 4 guests to reserve a spot on a Guided House Tour.
Advance Reservations are highly encouraged due to limited space on tours. To reserve your spot on a tour, please call Annika Bjornson at (845) 265-3638.
You must present the Library Pass on the day of your visit.

Children’s Museum of Manhattan
Museum’s Address: 212 W 83rd St. New York, NY 10024 (Located in the Tisch Building on the Upper West Side)
Free admission for up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children)
15% discount on CMOM Store purchases.
Discounts at some local family restaurants.
Advance reservations MUST be made in advance of your visit and can be made here: Member Reservations The Library’s membership number is 24883.
On the day of your visit, you must present the eTicket that was emailed to you from the museum, as well as the Library’s Museum Pass.
Limit 1 pass per family.

David Rockefeller Creative Arts Center at The Pocantico Center

Free admission for up to 6 people to the gallery exhibit
The pass must be filled out before the visit and then handed in on the day of your visit
Reservations are recommended but not required

Free admission for 1 vehicle access to most facilities operated by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.

Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum
Museum’s Address: 4079 Albany Post Rd. Hyde Park, NY 12538 (Dutchess County)
Free admission for up to 5 people to the Presidential Library and Museum only.
The pass must be filled out before the visit and then handed in at the ticket counter at the Wallace Visitor Center.
The person who has the pass must present ID at the museum on the day of the visit.

The Frick Collection
Museum’s Temporary Address while the historic museum is being renovated: 945 Madison Ave at 75th St. New York, NY 10021
One pass good for admission for one adult.

Access to monthly members hours.
Limit 2 passes per family.

Greenburgh Nature Center
Site’s Address: 99 Dromore Rd. Scarsdale, NY 10583 (Westchester County)
Free admission to the indoor exhibits in the Live Animal Museum located in The Manor House for 2 adults living in the same household & their children up to age 18.
Parking is first come, first served.
All trails are unpaved and not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs.
On the day of your visit, you must present the Membership Card to gain free entry to the Live Animal exhibit.

Guggenheim Museum
Museum’s Address: 1071 5th Ave. New York, NY 10128 (Upper East Side)
Free admission for 4 adults or 4 children over the age of 12.
Children under the age of 12 are always free.
2 additional guests can be added at $5 each

On the day of your visit, you must present the pass at the museum.

Hudson River Museum

Free admission for 2 adults and up to 6 children.
Free admission to one ticketed event (Choice of a Planetarium show or a Glenview Tour.)
15% discount in the Museum Shop.
The Library pass must be presented on the day of your visit.
Please do not use the library pass for advance reservations. It is for same-day admission only.

Intrepid Sea, Air, and Space Museum Complex
Museum’s Address: Pier 86, W 46th St. New York, NY 10036 (West Side)
Free admission for 2 adults and 2 children under 18.
Access to the express, Members-only admission line.
Free access to the Intrepid Museum, Space Shuttle Pavilion and the submarine Growler.
Discounted guest tickets: $18 adult, $13 child
10% discount on Family Membership
On the day of your visit, you must present the pass, an ID and your library card.

Katonah Museum of Art
Museum’s Address: 134 Jay St. Katonah, NY 10536 (Westchester County)
Free admission for 2 adults and all children under 12.
Access to Stroller Tours, Family Days, Artful After School & The Learning Center.
Masks are recommended for all visitors over the age of 2 regardless of vaccination status.
These passes allow free access to 7 other museums (Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, The
Barnum Museum, Bruce Museum, Hudson River Museum, Hudson Valley MOCA, Neuberger Museum of Art, Wave Hill)
Due to capacity restrictions, advance reservations are required. Ticket reservations can be made here: Ticket Reservations. Select the date you wish to visit and then select the Library Member option.
The library’s museum pass must be presented upon admission to the museum.

Liberty Science Center
Museum’s Address: 222 Jersey City Blvd. Jersey City, NJ 07305
$3 off General Admission ticket or 10% discount on LSC Membership purchased at the museum.
Advance tickets are not required.
Be sure to bring your Ossining Library card and a valid ID to the museum when you visit.

Mohonk Preserve
For a list of trailheads and their addresses where the pass can be used, click this link. Mohonk Preserve Trailheads 
The pass provides access for one vehicle with up to 4 visitors ages 16 and up. Possession of the pass doesn’t guarantee a parking spot and lots fill quickly during peak times.
If visitors are not in a vehicle, the maximum group size is 4 per pass.
Children 15 years old and younger are free when accompanied by an adult pass holder.
The pass is NOT valid for parking or entry to the Mohonk Mountain House or Minnewaska State Park.
Please bring the pass with you on the day of your visit and you will be given a free day use wristband at the trailhead.

Museum of the City of New York

Free admission for 2 adults.
Free admission for anyone under the age of 20.

Neuberger Museum of Art

Free admission for up to 8 people.
Masks are optional in most cases.

Stepping Stones Museum for Children

Stone Barns Center

Complimentary parking for one vehicle on Saturdays and Sundays.

Storm King Art Center
Museum’s Address: 1 Museum Rd. New Windsor, NY 12553 (Orange County)
Storm King is open Wednesday-Monday.
Ticketless Admission is limited to 2 adults and all children under the age of 18, living in the same household.
No advance reservation required.
Please bring the pass with you on the day of your visit.
Other benefits include:
Entry to Storm King’s grounds during Members-only hours which are Sundays, 9AM-10AM.

Teatown Lake Reservation
