Trustee Candidate Meghan Huppuch

Having served on the Ossining Public Library Board of Trustees since January 2022, Meghan Huppuch is honored to be running to serve a full three-year term. A proud graduate of Ossining High School, and a frequent visitor to Ossining Public Library growing up, Meghan returned to Ossining in 2021 after several years living and enjoying the public libraries in Brooklyn and Boston.

Along with strong feminist values and a commitment to equity, Meghan brings fifteen years of experience in organizing and communications roles in social justice nonprofits and philanthropy. She centers relationships in everything she does and has a passion and track record for organizational development. Meghan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social & Cultural Analysis from New York University and a Masters of Public Health with a focus in community health education from CUNY.

Meghan is excited to continue deepening her connection to her once and present home through serving the library. In addition to loving books, Meghan believes in the importance of libraries as resource hubs and public spaces for communities to connect and gather. She hopes to continue to lend her skills and energy to enhance Ossining Public Library’s great work and ensure that the library and its resources are accessible to everyone in our community. Meghan lives with her sister, her partner, and their cats Lemon and Pepper. In her free time Meghan loves cooking, reading, listening to records, and going for walks.
