The Friends of the Ossining Public Library will be accepting book donations from Tuesday, September 5 through Tuesday, October 10.
Save the Date: Fall Book Sale
The Friends will be hosting a book sale on Friday, October 20 and Saturday, October 21.
The Friends of the Library Annual Meeting
The Friends of the Ossining Public Library held their annual meeting this January. At the meeting, the following pieces of news were announced:
Nancy Panagacos is the new Vice President of the Friends. Nancy has been a Wednesday and Book Sale volunteer for several years and we welcome her to the Board.
For those who prefer the ease of electronic payment, we now accept payment of dues, donations and book sale purchases via Zelle. The address is: friendsofopl2019@gmail.com.
As advocates of the library, please let us know if you are willing to post a lawn sign for the School and Library budget vote for approval in May. You may also be interested in additional library advocacy as described in the ALA attachment.
We are seeking the volunteer services of a member with social media skills to establish and administer a Friends’ Facebook page. Please email friendsofopl2019@gmail.com if you are interested.
Book donations are not being accepted until at least April.
